Massy Mehdipour, P.E.
Founder and CEOAs founder and chief executive officer, Massy Mehdipour drives Skire's strategic direction. Mehdipour is an accomplished and seasoned executive with experience leading multinational organizations and mid-size companies in a variety of industries. Mehdipour is instrumental in the vision of developing Skire's flagship software product, Unifier™, and driving its adoption by Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and educational institutions for managing large construction, facilities and real estate programs. Prior to founding Skire, Mehdipour was CEO for Quasar, a company she founded, which provided construction and facilities management services to industry-leading companies. Previously Mehdipour grew through the executive ranks of Bechtel Group managing many billions of dollars in projects in sectors ranging from oil & gas to technology, and ultimately served as manager of the Microelectronics Business Unit. Mehdipour earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Canada, and is a registered Professional Engineer in California, Arizona, Maryland, and New York.
Trenton Brown
Executive Vice PresidentAs Executive Vice President, Trent Brown is responsible for Skire’s field operations. Brown joins Skire with extensive leadership experience, most recently serving as Senior Vice President at SAP, where he ran the manufacturing business and built a utilities practice for the company. Prior to SAP, he was CEO of Proficiency, Inc., a leader in Engineering and Manufacturing Data Interoperability and Translation, and was Chief Operating Officer of Rand Worldwide, where he was responsible for operational leadership for the company. Prior to Rand, Brown was co-chairman of The Oakwood Group, a UK- and Australian-based investment company, and Executive Vice President for Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), where he was responsible for two-thirds of the company’s annual revenues and successful in entering and building new markets throughout the world. He graduated from Western Illinois University, attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, and served as an active duty officer in the United States Army with global assignments.
Tom Weeks
Senior Vice President of Client ServicesAs Senior Vice President of Client Services, Tom Weeks is responsible for Skire’s service delivery and customer satisfaction. Weeks brings more than 20 years of diverse leadership experience at both small and large companies in the software and consulting industries. Prior to joining Skire, Weeks worked at SAP where he led the professional services division of Business Objects as Group Vice President, WW Geographies. Weeks has broad product experience across Business Intelligence, Project Management, ERP, CRM, Collaboration and eProcurement, with knowledge across a variety of industries. Weeks' prior experience includes executive and professional services management roles at Kovair Software, Cambridge Technology Partners and Anderson Consulting (now Accenture). Weeks earned his BA, Masters in Information Management and MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
Paul Verveniotis, P.E.
Vice President of Industry SolutionsPaul Verveniotis is responsible for leading Skire’s product strategy and implementation. His passion for effective human-machine interaction drives much of Skire’s product design. He also has two decades of experience in engineering-procurement-construction-operations management. Prior to Skire, he was a principal engineer for Quasar Engineering, where he was responsible for engineering, design, and project management on major advanced technology projects. Verveniotis also served as senior aerospace engineer for the U.S. Navy, where his responsibilities included engineering and failure investigation, as well as human factors research and design. During the early 1980's Verveniotis was instrumental in computer-aided design implementation at Bechtel Group. Verveniotis attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and is a registered mechanical Professional Engineer in California, Arizona, and Oregon.
Mahesh Gupta
Vice President of EngineeringMahesh Gupta is vice president of engineering and product management, responsible for managing Skire's overall software development, delivery and quality assurance. Prior to joining Skire, Gupta helped build the software development operations at Redwood Software Technologies, where he was responsible for the entire product development process. His previous experience includes project management roles at Fortuna Technologies and at Larsen and Toubro in India, where he was responsible for building an offshore development facility. Gupta earned his M.B.A., Diploma in Systems Management, and B.S. in Engineering from the University of Bombay, India.
George Haddad
Vice President of Product ManagementGeorge Haddad is charged with establishing Skire's strategic product direction. Haddad joined Skire in 2002 as the Director of Product Management and brings over twenty years of software product management and industry domain experience to the company. Previously he served as vice president of product and project management for a construction software company. Prior to that, Haddad served as senior product manager and industry market manager for Autodesk, where he helped launch Autodesk ADT the company's facilities management software solutions. Haddad earned a Masters Degree in Architectural Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his B.S. in Architectural Engineering from the University of Alexandria, Egypt.
Michael Lin, Ph.D.
Chief ArchitectMichael Lin is chief architect, responsible for leading system architecture design and strategic direction for next-generation enterprise applications. Prior to joining Skire in 2002, Lin served as senior level architect and developer at leading technology companies including Hewlett-Packard and Edeva, Inc. From 1988 to 1995, Lin was a professor at the State University of New York, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering. Lin earned his Ph.D. in Control, Information, and Control Engineering from the University of Michigan; his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University; and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
Sateez Kadivar
Vice President of Business OperationsSateez Kadivar is vice president of business operations responsible for managing Skire field operations and business affairs, including strategic customer acquisitions, partnerships, and contract negotiations. Prior to joining Skire in 2000, Kadivar served as director of business development and sales operations for an Internet start-up company, responsible for developing partnerships and negotiating contracts. Previously Kadivar worked within Hewlett-Packard's software and services group, assessing the company's legal exposure across a range of software-related professional services contracts. Kadivar earned his B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and his J.D. and M.B.A. from Boston College.
Bill Aker
Vice President of Customer Support and EducationBill Aker is the Vice President of Customer Support and Education, responsible for ensuring successful client implementations by providing a full array of training services and customer support. Since joining Skire in 2001, Aker has played the role of lead training and customer manager on a wide range of Skire client implementations. Aker brings a wealth of experience building and managing large-scale customer and technical support organizations dedicated to serving major Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Skire, Aker has managed call centers of up to 150-seats in both traditional customer support and data transfer methods, such as EDI and FTP, in both manufacturing and consumer businesses. As the Director of Operations for the Internet Shopping Network, Aker deployed large-scale platforms such as PeopleSoft, Yantra, Blue Martini, Retek, Intershop, and legacy systems. Aker earned his B.A. from University of San Diego.
John Leet
Vice President of MarketingJohn Leet is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance Skire's global brand awareness. These responsibilities also include managing partnerships, cultivating press and analyst relationships, leading promotional activities, and managing corporate communications. Leet joined Skire in 2001, and has also led large enterprise deployments as part of the professional services team, and signed new customers in key industry verticals. Prior to Skire, Leet served as vice president and general manager responsible of the North American division of a Swiss water treatment company with revenues in excess of $100M. Leet earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University.
