Education Services Manager

The Education Services Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of Education Services training offerings to Skire’s clients, employees, and partners on our software products. The position requires development of standard and custom courseware and the scheduling of training and training-related consulting for both instructor-led and e-learning.

The Education Services Manager is responsible for managing all education/training components for an implementation. This includes acting as a consultant for how to train our product, gathering requirements and implementing the optimal training package for our customers. This may include customizing an e-Learning environment, development of custom content for e-Learning or ILT, and delivery of standard classes.

The Education Services Manager delivers high quality training for all of Skire’s education portfolio. This position works independently to ensure that we meet the needs of our customers and partners.

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver training courses on Skire products to internal and external customers, including end users, project managers, IT professionals, and system administrators.
Provide training specifically on the use, configuration, integration, implementation, and administration of all Skire products.
Research, test and translate application information into training materials; conduct interviews with product developers and technical staff to gather data for documentation.
Conduct product training sessions to deliver relevant content and key learning concepts based on standard or custom material.
Schedule and coordinate training sessions.
Design and develop training curriculum and materials for clients, partners, and employees using appropriate instructional design concepts and adult learning methodology. Create e-learning materials for clients.
Use knowledge of training and learning trends to develop and enhance training curriculum.
Design and conduct realistic laboratory exercises.
Align training curriculum with current and new business initiatives and objectives, and provide training solutions to address business needs.
Use effective presentation skills including creative training techniques and adult/accelerated learning techniques.
Serve as subject matter expert and mentor.
Respond to product changes, customer needs, and opportunities for new and advanced topics.
Implement a measurement/evaluation process to ensure that training programs deliver positive business results and return on investment.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Tailor onsite classes to meet client requirements.
Extensive travel required, approximately 80%.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Five years experience in training delivery to internal and external customers; three years of that experience in conducting product training.
Extensive experience with hands-on instruction.
Three years experience in developing curriculum around software products.
Experience designing training using various delivery methods (i.e. CBT, WBT, Instructor-led).
Experience conducting Train the Trainer sessions.
Ability to learn complex software quickly and independently.
Ability to interact well with and provide training to all levels of the organization, including IT and executive staff.
Ability to research and gather content from multiple technical sources.
Experience with training on enterprise applications.
Strong ability to graphically illustrate complex concepts.
Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously without management supervision.
Advanced MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Experience with Learning Management Systems a plus
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional presentation skills are required.
Ability to travel nationwide 80% of the time.
Bachelors degree required. Advanced degree a plus.

Project Manager

This individual will be leading customer implementations for Skire’s Professional Services organization. They will work closely with Skire Account Executives to align customer needs, phasing and overall implementation strategy to deliver the highest value to our customers.

Project Managers will need to demonstrate both a strategic view of their customers as well as tactical daily project oversight and monitoring for ensuring successful implementations with respect to scope, schedule, budget and quality.

Responsibilities:

Understand and provide guidance for applying proven project management techniques, methods and tools for customer implementations aligned with Skire’s methodology
Provide leadership and direction for integrating project activities to maximize project efficiencies
Understand customer business cases and priorities to ensure the highest value is delivered for our customers
Use innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to proactively solve a broad range of problems
Manage the progress of project(s) with regard to schedule, budget, scope and quality
Anticipate and identify risks that may impact deliverables and develops and implements corrective actions
Provide resource and project structure alternatives to creatively deliver projects without compromising the quality of the implementation

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of consulting background
Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible, “hands-on” experience in Project Management; including managing dispersed project teams of 35+ members
Minimum of 10 years of experience for the delivery of technology solutions
Demonstrated ability to guide and support project teams in solving complex issues across their organizations
Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing large complex cross departmental projects
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, manage expectations and build strong working relationships at multiple levels within an organization
Broad understanding of SDLC, testing, change management and project management methodologies
Project Management schedule software experience, preferably with MS Project

Solution Architect

This role is responsible for the definition and delivery of the technical solution for enterprise wide Unifier implementations.

As part of the delivery, the Solution Architect will define the solution architecture and then through prototyping sessions will design the solution and subsequently be responsible for the deployment.

The Solution Architect must demonstrate the ability to translate business requirements into a technical solution that takes into account usability and customer adoption.

Responsibilities:

Manage technical aspects of software implementations from concept to deployment and acceptance
Business process analysis, articulation of Skire’s product/technical capabilities, data migration and project management (meeting customer expectations on-time and on-budget).
Act as a strategic partner between customers/user community and the technical applications development, sales, and product and implementation staff
Drive process improvement through business process definition and system alignment
Meeting and presenting with all levels of an organization from CxO to Data Entry clerk.
Manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
Travel approx. 50% of the time and as required basis.

Qualifications:

Proven track record working with and managing/deploying enterprise business solutions.
Strong in-person presentation skills and experience are a MUST.
Must be able to articulate complex concepts to audiences of varying perception levels.
Good knowledge of UI, Web application layout, and aesthetic appreciation.
Working knowledge of web technology and databases are required. Primavera or other large scale project management experience or construction software such as AutoCAD is welcome.
Experience of Construction Project Management, Facilities & Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance, Resource Management and Space Management applications are welcome.
Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Search engine, & MS Project is required.
The candidate should also have a high level of attention to detail.
Must demonstrate a strong ability and initiative to learn.
Must be able to "think on your feet."
Bachelor's Degree required; preferred Master’s Degree (i.e. MBA) but not required.

Experience:

10 years of experience as consulting lead and/or business or systems analysis. Skire’s Unifier and uDesigner experiences preferred.

Network Operations/System Administrator

The Network Operations/System Administrator is responsible for the performance, uptime, execution of in-house and data center hardware and software infrastructure. The Network Operations/Systems Administrator is also involved in projects involving the design and planning for client production services and server installations. The successful candidate will be competent with the theory and operation of production environment with application server, database server and different server operating systems. They will also be proficient with topics including security, high availability and disaster recovery.

Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technical major is preferred but not required. Related work experience, combined with appropriate certification may be substituted for educational requirements.
